Sequins

 

New Year’s Eve was low key for us this year. We spent the evening at a house party hosted by great friends. There were good drinks, yummy food and homemade snickers bars made by yours truly-more on that tomorrow, but just warning you…they are addictive! Even though it was a more casual affair, I wanted to incorporate some sparkle. Cue my sequin blazer. I love this blazer. It has ruched arms and fits to a tee. I paired it with one of my husbands white button downs. On a sidenote-it donned on me that I don’t own a white button down, many other colors, but not white! how is that possible? must rectify that this week!) I love the fact that the shirt is a take on a tuxedo shirt. Makes the outfit a bit more masculine against all the sparkles. To finish the look off, I threw on some black jewelry and dark denim.
