Muse Monday

Today’s inspiration comes in the form of kitchen floors. I’ve been obsessing, for a while now, about a new floor for our kitchen. Since we live in an old four square built in 1910, I’m looking for something modern but still reflective of the era of the house. A black and white floor is exactly what I’m thinking. Wish I had enough room in my cramped small kitchen to fit that island as well.  The other inspiration was from this gorgeous living room. I love the muted colors and the pop of the magenta chair. Makes me want to redecorate each room with one key piece to take center stage. (Don’t tell my husband, he already thinks I change things too much).
