Muse Monday- The Glamourai
One of the first (and my personal fave) fashion blogs I started following was The Glamourai. Kelly’s eye for style is simply amazing. This past year she has collaborated with more than a few fabulous designers. Today’s inspiration is from her collaboration with Kelly Wearstler. A few months ago, The Glamourai was whisked off to Malibu to do a shoot for Kelly in her home. I just about died when I saw the pictures. They are stunning. Brilliant really. I fell in love with the picture that is my muse today.
When I saw this blouse, the color combination was what caught my eye. I love how Kelly has coral lips with the turquoise and black blouse. The combination is perfect. I set out to recreate it, quite literally. To make the background look more like the blouse, I was able to use my Modern basics stamp set with a few topic markers to give depth to the colors. I think it turned out beautifully. What do you think?
