Monday Muse: Leopard + Polka Dots
Muse Monday
I know. It’s not Monday. But that’s how this week has gone. I think the real reason I’m behind is I got addicted to watching Downton Abbey. Don’t watch it? You should. My husband and I started it on Sunday. One episode soon turned into a Sunday marathon. Then Monday came along. I was faced with the choice between blogging or having a home cooked meal and a few episodes of Downton Abbey. You can guess what won out. So here I am, writing this on Tuesday for you to read Wednesday.
My inspiration today is Anne Sage from The City Sage and myself (never thought I’d be my own muse). I saw her outfit post today- polka dot tights and leopard shoes- and it reminded me how much I LOVE leopard and polka dots together. It’s one of my favorite combos. One I thought would make a perfect “Miss You” Card. A co-worker of mine is leaving Target after 16 years (her whole career). She decided she needed to make a change and this was the year it was going to happen. It’s a brave thing to follow your heart. Something I struggle with everyday. Take a risk and do something you’re passionate about or keep that as a hobby and stick to your 9 to 5 gig. What would you do?
