Baby, It's cold outside

 

Remember last week when I posted it was 3 degrees? Well, it got worse. It was -11 the next day and didn’t warm up much this past weekend either. To old man winter I say LAYER UP!  This is the only way to survive this type of weather. I always start with wool tights and a tank under everything. Throw on a button down, a sweater and a faux fur vest and you’re good to go. You’ll be toasty all day long. Boots are also a necessity. I actually find I’m warmer in tights and boots with a skirt than just pants. Maybe it’s because I don’t like tights under my pants- too much bulk. Now, if only I could wear a hat to work. Anytime I have a hat on, I’m warm. It’s true what they say, you loose most of your body heat through your head. How do you stay warm when the temperature is frigid?
