Muse Monday {Purple inspiration}

During a recent Saturday lost to pinterest, I found this inspiration photo. The color combo’s immediately grabbed my attention (mostly because it’s something I would wear). After pinning it, I clicked on the source and found a new blog that is just oozing with inspiration: Shelter. I spent the rest of that Saturday going back through the blog- it’s fab!

But enough about that, on to the card. I was making a card for a girl on my team last week, and I wanted to make something fun and colorful while avoiding all colors Christmas (her birthday was the 25th). The card is a bit more literal to the outfit, but it works. I wanted the banner at the top to reflect the necklace in the picture, and the color order is the same as in the picture. Do you think it’s a good representation of outfit to card?
